Day-to-day of the role: Manage import shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs formalities.Liaise effectively with customers, consignees, customs authorities, and port health.Book shipments and arrange deliveries for FCL & LCL cargoes.Prepare and manage documentation for import clearance and CHED/IPAFFS submissions.Process invoices and purchase orders accurately and timely.Monitor and coordinate the shipping process using systems like Destin8, CNS, and Multifreight. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2-3 years' experience in import shipping and customs clearance.Strong understanding of UK customs procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with CHED/IPAFFS documentation.Excellent communication and organisational skills.A team player with a positive, self-driven attitude and strong attention to detail.
