Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: GBP26,000

Are you a reliable and proactive individual looking to join a small but dynamic warehouse team? Our client is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day operations of a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment in Thatcham.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves a variety of warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and handling goods of various sizes and weights. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring care and qualityMaintain a clean and organised warehouse environmentAdhere to all Health & Safety proceduresUse computer systems to manage stock and ordersLoad and unload delivery vehiclesPerform manual handling dutiesCheck incoming and outgoing goodsCarry out general ad-hoc warehouse tasksUse initiative and support the smooth running of the warehouseDevelop a working knowledge of the company's wide-ranging product range

What our clients Looking For:

Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)Comfortable with manual lifting and physical tasksComputer literate with good attention to detailA team player with a proactive attitudeA valid forklift licence is desirable, but not essential
