Freight Forwarder - Operations Agent - Colnbrook

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation committed to excellence in global logistics and supply chain management, specializing in supporting the Life Science vertical. Currently seeking a candidate to join their expanding team within Operations.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidate with some experience in air and freight forwarding, capable of efficiently preparing and cutting airline documents, prepare quotes, and able to think quickly on their feet to resolve issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to support their time critical and temperature sensitive products.

This role will be based at their office close to Colnbrook, working Monday - Friday with flexibility hours required. The office provides free on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate quotes to customersCut and process airline documentation, ensuring all paperwork complies with relevant regulations and company standards.Monitor and manage shipments from start to finish, troubleshooting any issues promptly.Thinking quickly and adapting to changing priorities or unexpected challenges during the process.Collaborate with airlines, customs officials, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.Qualifications:

1 year's experience working within Freight Forwarding is vital.Previous experience preparing airline documentation is preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Quick thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.In return for your hard work and contribution, our client is committed to personal and career development and rewards well.
