Clearwater hybrid electric lap steel with acoustic bridge and numerous pro upgrades

Description

Used, in excellent condition, featuring custom made acoustic bridge with piezo saddle and numerous pro upgrades. Includes: Gigbag, tonebar and picks

Circa 2007 Clearwater lap steel guitar, with several professional upgrades, including a hand cut bone nut, USA CTS pots, "Orange Drop" tone cap,  full shielding to pickup and control cavities, Wilkinson P90 pickups, plus a handmade acoustic-style bridge which features an Ovation-type saddle pickup with individual piezo elements for each string. (NB This is not an under-saddle pickup, the piezo sensors are integrated into the saddle) The acoustic bridge is on a separate output jack to the the electric pickups, and provides the basis for a convincing Weissenborn-like acoustic tone in addition to the traditional electric output, making an extremely versatile and useful instrument  (please note: an external preamplifier and use of an acoustic amplifier or full range speaker system is recommended for optimum results from the acoustic bridge)
