Description
Gardener
An experienced and reliable Gardener is needed to join the team in maintaining private gardens and several acres of farmland on a family estate in Berkshire.
This is a full-time position, working 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary. There is the option to live on site within the estate for the right candidate.
You will take pride in your work and enjoy working as a team:
Carry out general gardening duties, including planting, pruning and hedge cutting.Maintain and manage lawns to a high standard with mowing, edging, feeding, aeration and seasonal treatments.Undertake chainsaw work where required, including tree and branch management.Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience in lawn management and general gardening.Chainsaw trained and certified ideally chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, felling and processing tress up to 380mm.Confident working independently with a proactive approach.Strong attention to detail and pride in producing excellent results.
