Pro Performance were one of the first Rod manufacturers to introduce a top quality rod blank from the far east and genuinely Built Specimen Rods that matched many of the leading custom built Rods costing up-to £500.
The Blanks are super thin and the action of these Rods is to die for, I have only owned the earlier nash rods and did not think anything would beat them. The Pro Performance Rapid V rods are a full carbon rod and because this model was launched around 2005 the carbon wrap on the blank is of a superior strength standard of many present day Carp Rods out there today.
The 12ft 2pc version Rapid V is well worth getting as all the rods in this range come with good quality rings, reel seats and stainless steel butt protectors.
Coming across this rod whilst browsing Amazon was like discovering a old fashioned sweet that you can't get any more. I highly Recommend these rods.
