ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL SERVICES SUPPORT ENGINEER
Location: Dudley
Salary: 30,000 per annum
Department: Rotating Equipment Services
Are you a motivated, organised engineering professional with experience in rotating equipment?
We're looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Services Support Engineer to join a busy Rotating Equipment Services Department and support the Departmental Manager with day-to-day operations.
The Role
In this varied and fast-paced position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pump repair and rotating equipment service department. Your responsibilities will include:
" Delivering high levels of customer service and communication
" Maintaining job packs to ensure accurate document control in line with quality processes
" Supporting daily planning and coordination of pump repair operations
" Monitoring inventory levels and ordering parts as required
" Tracking work in progress and ensuring timely project completion
" Preparing clear, concise written quotations
" Producing reports and documentation when needed
" Supporting monthly sales forecasting
Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
" Knowledge of various types of rotating equipment
" Strong organisational and communication skills
" Understanding of safety standards
" Good IT literacy and administrative capability
" A customer-focused approach
" Knowledge of quality assurance practice
Education & Experience
" GCSE or equivalent
" Experience working within a service-based engineering environment
