Location: Coventry
Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)
Salary: GBP47,800 per annum

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will design, modify and maintain mechanical equipment on site. Your work will focus on delivering safe, hygienic and reliable engineering solutions that keep production running smoothly.
Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
Carry out mechanical repairs, fabrication and welding to minimise breakdownsSupport rapid response to engineering faults across production linesCreate and maintain CAD drawings for reference and future projectsMachine parts for stock to reduce dependence on external suppliersComplete preventative maintenance and quality assurance checksInspect equipment and diagnose potential issues before failurePrioritise and complete work assignments quickly and efficientlyWork closely with manufacturing, production and quality teamsFollow all health & safety and food safety proceduresProvide clear reporting on completed work and outstanding tasksMechanical Fitter Experience:
Time-served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualificationStrong experience in an automated production environmentSkilled welder (TIG, MIG, ARC) and trained fabricatorMachining skills (lathe and milling)Good CAD knowledgeFor more information on the Mechanical Fitter Position contact Ewan at Stirling Warrington.
