We’re working with a specialist equipment business in Framlingham that’s looking to add a Service Technician to the team.

Framlingham | On-site | Monday–Friday

£27,000 - £30,000pa

The role centres on repairing and maintaining electrical equipment used within their hire fleet, so hands-on electronics experience is a real advantage, someone who’s spent time repairing electronics, using tools and ideally doing a bit of soldering.

What you’ll be doing

* Fault-finding on inspection kits, monitors and control units

* Repairing or replacing components such as connectors, cables, lights, circuit boards, and small mechanical parts

* Carrying out basic soldering and wiring repairs

* Cleaning, preparing and testing equipment before it goes back out on hire

* Making sure repair notes and service records are kept accurate and up to date

* Keeping the workshop organised and working safely

* Helping with occasional local deliveries/collections when needed

This role will suit

* Someone with hands-on repair experience; ideally in electronics, wiring, soldering, or similar “bench repair” work

* A practical problem-solver who enjoys taking things apart and fixing them to a high standard

* Happy working on-site in a small, supportive team

* Detailed, methodical, and able to follow xjnqpsq repeatable processes

* Full UK driving licence required for occasional vehicle use
