Description

Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Parts Advisor to become a key member of our client’s busy automotive team.

This role is central to ensuring both trade and retail customers receive the right parts and support, quickly and accurately.

If you enjoy a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges, and value delivering excellent service, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Parts Advisor, you will handle customer enquiries, process orders, and coordinate parts preparation for collection or delivery. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly support the smooth running of our workshop and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and support to customers at the counter and over the phone, ensuring the right parts are supplied efficiently.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with trade and retail customers through professional service and product knowledge.

• Accurately input orders into the MAM system and manage associated administrative tasks.

• Organise, pick, and pack parts ready for collection or delivery, maintaining high standards of accuracy.

• Promote relevant offers and parts promotions where appropriate to enhance customer experience.

• Process payments and manage customer returns in a timely and professional manner.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth, customer-focused operations.

• Maintain a tidy and organised parts area, supporting operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate

• A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner.

• Previous experience in an automotive parts, dealership, or motor factor environment is desirable.

• Knowledge of vehicle parts or willingness to learn quickly.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Highly organised, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability.

• Experience using MAM software is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided).

• Full UK driving licence preferred. xjnqpsq
