Location: East Yorkshire
Salary: 20 to 23 an hour
The Role of the HGV Technician
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to work on a modern fleet of PSV buses and coaches within a professional workshop environment.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working on larger vehicles and wants long–term stability with a growing operator.
Responsibilities of the HGV Technician
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV buses and coaches6–weekly inspections and preventative maintenanceMOT preparation and compliance workDiagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faultsBrake, suspension, steering and engine repairsEnsuring all work is completed safely and to DVSA standards
The ideal HGV Technician will have
Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance OR time–served HGV TechnicianExperience working on HGV, PSV, buses or coachesStrong diagnostic and fault–finding abilityKnowledge of DVSA inspection standardsFull UK Driving Licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential)If you are interested ion the role of HGV Technician, then please apply today.
