Description
Seeking an experienced Tipper Driver for an immediate start in Reading. Operating out of Tilehurst, you will transport aggregate, soils, and recycled materials to construction sites and quarries. All candidates must possess valid eligibility credentials and have the right to work in the UK. If you are interested and ready for an immediate start, please apply today!
Key Duties:
- Safely operate rigid tipper trucks, navigating landfill sites, quarries, and developments.
- Control vehicle tipping controls to discharge sand, stone, and waste in safe zones.
- Liaise with site managers, loading shovel drivers, and plant operators.
- Record delivery tickets, tip details, and daily vehicle check sheets.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence with CPC and Digi Tacho.
- MPQC / EPIC Card (highly advantageous for quarry gate entry).
- Minimum 12 months commercial tipper or heavy-construction driving experience.
- Excellent safety record and driving standards.
