Description
We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver (C) to join our client's logistics team in Sheffield. Working from the depot in Meadowhall, you will complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial businesses. All candidates must possess valid eligibility credentials and have the right to work in the UK. Key Duties:
- Deliver commercial and palletized consignments to businesses and retail centers.
- Average 8-12 drops per day, operating tail lifts and manual pallet trucks.
- Complete digital delivery logs on handheld scanners, capturing signatures.
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle, reporting any mechanical problems immediately.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C driving licence.
- Valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card) and Digital Tachograph card.
- Maximum 6 penalty points on licence for minor offences only.
- Physical capability to assist with unloading pallets using a pump truck.
