Description
We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver (C) to join our client's logistics team in Portsmouth. Working from the depot in Cosham, you will complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial businesses. All candidates must possess valid eligibility credentials and have the right to work in the UK. If you are interested and ready for an immediate start, please apply today!
Key Duties:
- Deliver commercial and palletized consignments to businesses and retail centers.
- Average 8-12 drops per day, operating tail lifts and manual pallet trucks.
- Complete digital delivery logs on handheld scanners, capturing signatures.
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle, reporting any mechanical problems immediately.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C driving licence.
- Valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card) and Digital Tachograph card.
- Maximum 6 penalty points on licence for minor offences only.
- Physical capability to assist with unloading pallets using a pump truck.
