Part-time Housekeeper – Private Family Home – Ipswich IP1

Description

We are a family looking for a reliable, experienced and friendly housekeeper to help look after our home in the IP1 area of Ipswich.

This is a regular role for two days per week, ideally around 6 hours per day. We can be reasonably flexible about which weekdays these are for the right person.

We are looking for someone who will take pride in keeping the house clean, tidy and well organised, and who is happy to take responsibility for the normal day-to-day household jobs rather than simply providing a cleaning service.

Typical duties would include:


General household cleaning



Washing, drying and folding clothes



Ironing



Changing bed linen and towels



Putting clean clothes and laundry away



Tidying and general household organisation



Keeping the kitchen and utility areas clean and organised



Occasional deeper cleaning and other household tasks as required



We would particularly like someone who is reliable, trustworthy, organised and able to work independently. Previous experience as a housekeeper or working in a private home would be ideal.

We are looking for someone who would can become a trusted part of the household.

Location: Ipswich IP1

Hours: Approximately 12–14 hours per week over two weekdays

Pay: £18 per hour

Start: As soon as convenient

References will be required.
