Days/Hours: 5-6 days a week, 50-60 hours per week

A lovely household based in Westminster are looking for an experienced and reliable live out housekeeper / cook to help maintain their home to a high standard while preparing fresh and enjoyable meals. This is a busy, varied position suited to someone who is organised, proactive and takes pride in their work.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing housekeeping duties independently and have a good understanding of everyday cooking. They should be attentive to detail, able to manage their time effectively and comfortable working in a private household where high standards of cleanliness and organisation are expected.

Duties include:

carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning and tidying bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping wardrobes and storage areas neat and organised
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
planning and preparing fresh, healthy and varied meals
preparing meals in line with the household’s preferences and dietary requirements
organising ingredients and monitoring kitchen supplies
washing up and tidying the kitchen after cooking
organising household items and keeping everything in its place
running occasional household errands when required
ensuring the home remains clean, presentable and running smoothly
