An UHNW family are seeking an exceptional Ladies’ Maid / Butler to provide dedicated support to the Principal, primarily at her London residence, with occasional international travel.

This is a hands-on and intuitive role suited to someone highly professional, calm and adaptable, with strong skills across wardrobe management, personal service and F&B service. The position can be live-out, with separate nearby accommodation available for candidates seeking a live-in arrangement.

The London residence is fully staffed, and the successful candidate will work closely with a small, trusted team including Housekeepers and PAs. The role is focused on providing seamless day-to-day support to the Principal, anticipating her requirements and ensuring her personal belongings, wardrobe and immediate environment are maintained and organised to an exceptional standard.

Key responsibilities include wardrobe and clothing care, handling luxury garments, packing and unpacking, wardrobe organisation and preparing clothing and personal items as required. When the Principal travels, you may occasionally accompany her or travel ahead to ensure hotels or residences are prepared prior to arrival, including luggage management, room preparation and personal amenities.

You will also provide Butler and light F&B service as required, supporting family and guest visits, preparing refreshments and ensuring rooms and amenities are appropriately presented. Light PA-style support will include restaurant bookings, errands, appointment coordination, gift wrapping and handling general ad-hoc requests.

You will liaise confidently with the Family Office, PAs, Housekeepers and wider household team, understanding appropriate boundaries while ensuring information and requests are communicated efficiently.

Flexibility, discretion and a genuinely pleasant manner are essential. The client is seeking someone down-to-earth, polished and service-minded, who enjoys working as part of a team but is equally confident operating independently and providing highly personalised one-to-one support.

Candidate Requirements:

3–5+ years’ experience as a Ladies’ Maid, Butler, Valet, Senior Housekeeper or Yacht Steward/Stewardess

Flexible and willing to undertake some international travel

Eligible to work in the UK and able to travel internationally

Valid DBS check or willing to obtain one
