For sale vintage, retro danish 50’s, 60’s circular drop leaf dining table manufactured by Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik Furniture.
The design of table features a top comprised of two slightly unequally sized leaves with book matched veneer and a solid teak bullnose edge. The top sits on n a broadly supported gate leg base that allows for it to easily convert from a four-to-six person dining table to two-to-three or a console table. The drop leaf format allows this table to also be placed against a wall to save space. The original "Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik Furniture” label is still attached underneath of table top.
Size of the table (approximately):
Width: 52inch (133cm), when leaf dropped 30inch (75cm)
Depth: 52inch (133cm)
Height: 28inch (72cm)
The dining table is in excellent vintage condition with a very light signs of use. The top has been beautifully restored and re-oiled with Danish oil.
Please see pictures for a better idea of the condition. I have tried to show colours as accurately as possible but please remember colours do appear differently on some monitors.
