Description
Audi TT 2 Litre Petrol TFSI Grey 2009 in immaculate condition FSH ULEZ Compliant
I’ll start off with the condition of the vehicle, as most people including myself buy a car like this for the the driving experience as well as having somehting that’s equally as good to look at. It’s immaculate, both inside and out. Body work is unscathed, testiment to how well looked after it’s been thorughout it’s lifetime. No signs of rust, or tarnished paintwork and no dents. Washed and waxed it gleams, so that’s how I’ve kept it myself as you can see in the photos. A very nice looking car and lovely to drive suitable for anybody wanting a solid and dependable small but gutsy coupe hatchback. Or somebody wanting something they can push a bit harder for a fun and sporty drive that also looks the part.
The inside is just as tidy. Half leather/half suede seats with black cloth to match, and not a scratch on the dash. It sits low in the sports seats for an added sporty feel and has a very nice looking cockpit, classic TT dials, metal pedals and gear stick and small squared off steering wheel. With the 17” low profile alloys and a short wheelbase, it’s stable and responsive and very fun to drive even when just cruising. The back seats also fold down and the parcel shelf can be removed doubling this space, big enough to fit a road bike easily with the front wheel off.
All electrics fully functional, including retractable spoiler which pops up automatically at around 75mph. There’s also a button to control this by the gearstick next to the traction control button which I haven’t felt the need to turn off, but I’m told it makes for a fun drive. Bluetooth enabled to connect phone and music through the stereo. AC is charged and works brilliantly.
The 2 litre TFSI engine gives out more power than most people will need, including myself. The turbo kicks in around the 3000rpm if you really want to take off. Drive below 3000rpm, which is where I do most of my driving, and with the 6 speed transmission and lightweight build it’s very fuel economical when cruising and on longer drives. Averages 52mpg on motorway drives and around 42mpg on smaller roads and towns/cities which is very good, for a car of this year and power in particular. The gleaming service history helps here having been regularly cleaned out and topped up, it runs very smoothly.
Spec as below:
200bhp
0-60mpg 6.6 seconds
52mpg extra urban / 42mpg urban
6 speed manual gearbox
Sport seats and stearing wheel
New tyres new / rear tyres like new
Around 129k miles on the clock
A beautifully maintained vehicle, both in my care and by previous owners. It comes with full service history which has mostly been carried out by Audi specialists, with stamps in the book to support. Around Three services carried out last year alone, full service by the previous owner in February and another interim service by the dealership I bought it from in May as standard pre-purchase.
Sailed through the last MOT with only one advisory to keep an eye on, small leak in exhaust. Next MOT February 2024. I had an indipendant health check carried out by an Audi specialist after purchase, he found the exhaust leak and deamed it not to be severe but I had it repaired nonetheless to maintian the standard and emissions/economy of the vehicle. Also advised that the break servo and master cylinder may need changing soon so for piece of mind I also had that work done too.
It comes with good tyres all round, new on front only 4 months use. Two remote keys and a third Audi spare key, which they include in the folder on purchase. No outstanding finance etc and the log book is in hand, ready to transfer to the new buyer.
Recent work carried out:
Cambelkt kit and water pump
Break servo and master cylinder replaced
Exhaust flexi replaced
Top mount, drop link and spring change
Drivers side locking mechanism replaced
Headlamp wiring set change
New tyres front 4 months ago, pleanty of tread on the rear
Full service in Feb including all filters and plugs
Interim service May
Full service history
Fresh MOT
