Take the reins of a welcoming village pub and make it your own. We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on couple to manage the Red Lion, a stone-built village pub in the heart of Bramham. With a traditional public bar, split-level lounge, and cosy character throughout, it’s a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike.

This is a salaried live-in position with full training and support from our independent Tadcaster brewery. You’ll enjoy the independence of running your own pub, meeting regulars, and taking pride in serving Samuel Smith beers – brewed locally. It’s a lifestyle as much as a job, in a thriving village setting.

About the pub:

• Traditional public bar and split-level lounge

• Stone-built character with a warm, welcoming atmosphere

• Located in the centre of Bramham, a large and friendly West Yorkshire village

Roles & Benefits:

• Permanent joint management contract with Samuel Smith Brewery

• Rent-free managers’ flat above the pub

• All utilities paid by the brewery (excluding council tax)

• Full training provided – previous experience helpful but not essential

• A small £1,000 security deposit is required

• Opportunity to run your own pub and make it a hub for the community

Enthusiastic, proactive people with a desire for a career change or to take control of their own lives. You’ll bring your personality and ideas to the pub, take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere, and find creative ways to delight your customers, making the Red Lion a vibrant hub of village life.
