Description
We are looking for an experienced, practical, reliable person to help maintain our farm, gardens, and estate grounds. This is a hands-on outdoor role with varied tasks across the year.
Key Duties
Lawn mowing and grass cutting
Hedge clearing/pruning, weeding/weed-killing
Tree and shrub maintenance
Vineyard work
Basic machinery maintenance and small repairs
Chainsaw work
General estate tasks: painting, repairs, tidying, pond work
Operating farm machinery (tractor, mower, hedge cutter, forklift, digger, dumper)
Topping, harrowing, rolling
Seasonal harvest work
Fence/building repairs
Tending to peacocks
The Right Person
Can see what needs doing and work independently
Happy working outdoors in all weather
Flexible and able to turn your hand to varied tasks
Agricultural background with tractor/forklift experience
Full clean driving licence + own car (essential)
PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
References required
