PARK ROYAL, LONDON (OFFICE BASED)

UP TO 75,000 + 10% BONUS + ENHANCED BENEFITS

THE COMPANY & OPPORTUNITY:

We're partnering with a rapidly growing FMCG business with a strong portfolio of consumer brands, now looking to appoint a Financial Controller to support ongoing UK and international expansion. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead the day-to-day finance function, develop the finance team, strengthen controls, and partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Marketing.

This role would suit either an experienced Financial Controller or a Finance Manager ready to step up, with hands-on financial control experience, strong leadership capability, and a background in FMCG, Food & Drink, Consumer Goods, or another fast-moving product environment. You'll play a key role in improving processes, leading month-end and year-end, driving ERP/system enhancements, and supporting the launch and scale of new products.

THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

Operate as the lead Financial Controller across multiple business units, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, including leading a team of 5 peopleWork closely with the Finance Director, supporting business strategy, planning and performance discussionsDeliver management accounts, KPIs, financial reporting packs and insight to senior leadershipLead month-end, year-end, reconciliations and statutory submissionsStrengthen internal controls, processes and reporting frameworks as the business scalesPartner with operational and commercial teams to improve performance and margin visibilityBuild costing frameworks, support product costing and stock control processesLead and develop a high-performing finance team, embedding accountability and developmentChampion ERP / systems improvements and integrationsAct as primary finance lead with auditors and external advisorsTHE PERSON:

Experience working as a Financial Controller or as a Finance Manager ready to step up, within a FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food & Drink or similar product-led environmentFully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Strong team leadership experience and enjoyment of developing othersExcellent stakeholder and cross-functional communication skillsComfortable being both strategic and hands-on in a scaling environmentStrong systems mindset, experience leading or supporting ERP improvements is highly advantageousTO APPLY:
