NXTGEN is delighted to be working closely with a highly regarded and ambitious accountancy firm in Norwich to recruit an Accounts Manager for their growing Business Services team. This is a truly unique opportunity to join the firm at an early stage of their exciting growth journey, giving you the autonomy to shape the future of the team and the services they deliver.

In this role, you'll work 1-2-1 with a Partner, taking an active role in building and developing both the portfolio and the team, while staying hands-on with a range of existing clients. This isn't your typical practice role where you're waiting for opportunities - as one of the first through the door, you'll have a clear progression pathway from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing relationships and delivering exceptional service.Produce complex management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.Prepare and present reporting packs to provide clients with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.Review year-end accounts and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Build, lead, and mentor a growing team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.Work directly with a Partner to shape the future of the team and identify opportunities for growth.Continuously review and enhance clients' finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For:

ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent.Previous experience in an accountancy practice, with strong knowledge of financial operations and management accounting.Confident using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
