Salary: Up to GBP55,000 per annum

Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a dynamic Finance Manager to join a forward thinking and growing business based in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant who enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, cash flow and treasury management, whilst leading a small finance team and driving improvements across the finance function. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, managing working capital and strengthening financial controls within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. Take ownership of the month-end close process, producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, balance sheet reporting and cash flow analysisPrepare monthly Group consolidations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reportingManage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all control accounts are accurately maintained and reviewedSupport the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and coordinate audit schedules and supporting informationTake responsibility for treasury management, including daily cash positions, cash flow forecasting, weekly payment runs and supplier payment planningMonitor and manage working capital, including stock, creditors and debtors, identifying opportunities to improve cash flowOversee Accounts Payable, company expenses, bank reconciliations and third-party payment reconciliationsPrepare quarterly VAT returns and maintain the fixed asset registerWork closely with the FP&A team, providing accurate financial information and supporting analysis for budgeting, forecasting and performance reviewsLead, support and develop junior members of the finance teamIdentify and implement process improvements, strengthen financial controls and support the introduction of new finance systems and technology The ideal candidate for the role of Finance Manager

Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Strong experience in financial accounting, management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliationsGood understanding of statutory reporting requirements, including FRS 102, and experience supporting external auditsProven experience in cash flow forecasting, treasury and working capital managementExperience overseeing transactional finance processes, including Accounts Payable and VATPrevious experience supervising, mentoring or managing finance team members To Apply
