Description
A construction group based near Bradford is seeking an AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional—ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified—to take on a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
Process weekly payroll
Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions
