Sample Machinist / Atelier Seamstress
Location: London
Type: Freelance / Negotiable.
A small, highly creative London atelier working in the high-end collectables market is seeking an experienced sample machinist / seamstress.
Our studio produces beautifully finished collectable garments and textile pieces in varied scales for a select international collector clientele.
This role will suit a thoughtful and open-minded craftsperson who enjoys unusual projects and is happy to take on a challenge within a creative studio environment.
Requirements
• Experience as a sample machinist, dressmaker or atelier seamstress
• Ability to work from patterns, instructions or reference samples
• Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment construction
• Excellent finishing standards and attention to detail
• Comfort working with small pattern pieces and intricate construction
