Accounts Assistant – £30,000-£32,000

Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey

We are seeking a highly motivated and numerate individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be confident working with both purchase and sales ledger functions and thrive in a busy, supportive team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements

Preparing payment runs and resolving queries

Liaising with the operations department

Bank reconciliations

Posting customer receipts and issuing statements

Assisting in learning and managing the accounts aspect of our operational system

Requirements:

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with Sage is desirable

Quick to learn with a proactive and positive attitude

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
