Online GCSE & A-Level Maths/Physics Tutor | PhD, 10+ Years

Hello, I’m Nikola, an online mathematics and physics tutor with a PhD in theoretical physics and more than ten years of tutoring experience.

I work mainly with A-Level students and also support GCSE pupils who want to strengthen their foundations before sixth form. This is particularly useful when a student understands lessons in class but finds it difficult to begin unfamiliar questions, link topics together or turn knowledge into marks.

Lessons are one-to-one and shaped around the student’s exam board, current level and goals. I have experience with AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge courses across Maths, Further Maths and Physics.

What lessons include:

- Clear live working with a graphics tablet and screen sharing
- Diagrams, visual explanations and carefully chosen examples
- Exam-board-specific questions and past-paper practice
- Help with problem selection, timing and avoiding common errors
- Handwritten PDF notes after each lesson

My aim is to build understanding first, then improve accuracy, independence and exam confidence. I have taught more than 100 students, from school level through to university.

Rates: students up to age 18 — £40 for 45 minutes or £50 for 60 minutes. University students aged 18+ — £70 for 60 minutes.
