Description
Has a mock result exposed gaps that were not obvious during the term? I offer focused online tuition in A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics, with GCSE support available as well.
I’m Nikola, a tutor with a PhD in theoretical physics, more than ten years of experience and over 100 students taught. Most of my work is with A-Level students and their parents, especially when the student needs a clearer plan rather than more unfocused revision.
We begin by identifying the few issues making the biggest difference: missing foundations, an unreliable method, difficulty recognising the topic, slow algebra, weak written explanations or poor decisions under time pressure. Lessons then move between explanation, guided practice and exam-style questions.
You can expect:
- One-to-one online lessons tailored to AQA, OCR, Edexcel or Cambridge requirements
- Live handwritten solutions using a graphics tablet
- Targeted past-paper work rather than random question volume
- Practical exam technique, timing and checking strategies
- PDF lesson notes supplied afterwards for revision
I explain ideas visually and keep the important principles visible, so students understand what a question is testing and can reproduce the method independently.
Rates: students up to age 18 — £40 for 45 minutes or £50 for 60 minutes. University students aged 18+ — £70 for 60 minutes.
A short introductory session is free for students up to Year 13. You can contact me through Gumtree or on WhatsApp using the number shown in the contact field. Please include the subject, exam board, current grade and target, plus any recent mock feedback if available. More information and testimonials are available through my website link.
