Prioritise your safety by meeting in a well-lit, public place during daylight hours. Take a friend or family member with you if possible. Let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be back. Avoid meeting at your home or theirs. Trust your instincts; if something feels off, leave.
Be cautious of job postings that seem too good to be true or require you to pay upfront for training or equipment. Research the company and verify its legitimacy. Ensure the job description is clear and that you understand the responsibilities and compensation. Be wary of requests for personal financial information early in the application process. Check the company's reviews online if available.
