Personal touch, good communication skills, plenty of humour, as my magic is based on walking round venues, and performing walk around magic, also a lot of mentalist magic, I build the show up, starting with smaller tricks, some card magic, and not just with playing cards, then i go into a mentilist part of the show, this is reading people minds, with card's, word's, objects etc, which i find the reaction is wow, and then that finally comes to what i call the show stoppers, these are very much the wow effect, based on olden days true stories, with a great range of the props that were used over 100 years ago, then we have the new show stoppers as well, I also do fork bending, im a member of the largest organisation of magicians, very proud of this, as you have to be invited and complete an exam about magic, and have my own tarot business, and some tricks are tarot based, I can bring my tarot cards with me, if the customer wants it, this would be an added extra for free, which I have been asked for before, and has been very popular in the past, I can also theme the magic, if you have a theme party, I will try and source magic tricks for that theme, if there are none, I will be able to get a couple of funny one's, it's good to bring a bit of comedy to the evening.
