FULL TIME DUTY MANAGER – THE ESPY (PORTOBELLO BEACH) £14.50 – £15.50 per hour (DOE) + tips | weekly pay Full time | 40–45 hours | 5 days over 7
We’re looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to help run shifts at The Espy — a busy, dog-friendly bar & restaurant on Portobello beachfront.
This role is about supporting the team and keeping things running smoothly during busy service.
The role: Run assigned shifts (mix of day and night) Support both bar and floor Work alongside the team during service, leading from the front Liaise with the kitchen to keep service flowing Handle customer issues confidently Keep things organised when it gets busy Cash up (simple bag and tag) What we’re looking for: Experience in a busy restaurant and bar environment Confident taking charge of a shift Calm under pressure Good with people Reliable and hands-on What you get: Weekly pay Share of tips Staff food on shift Staff discount Supportive team Requirements: Right to work in the UK References available on request Apply: Send your CV Or pop in and introduce yourself.
