Essentially a rebadged ISUZU Trooper / Opel Bighorn

MOT Fail - Sold as Spares or Repair.

Recent MOT fail, but couldn't bring my self to scrap it as been too much fun.

So putting it up for sale in the hope someone can sort it out:

Repair immediately (major defects):
Exhaust emissions likely to be affected by an exhaust leak (8.2.1.1 (b))
Nearside Headlamp not working on main beam (4.1.1 (a) (ii))
Nearside Rear Inner Vehicle structure or chassis has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of a body mounting sill corroded and holed (6.2.2 (d) (i))
Offside Rear Inner Vehicle structure or chassis has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of a body mounting sill corroded and holed (6.2.2 (d) (i))

All the information / issues I can think of:

Approx 167000 miles on the clock.

This is the LWB 7 seater version, the 2x rear seats are not pictured as in storage but will be included.

It has been converted to lpg with a small petrol tank on a 50ltr/20ltr split. Fuel is controlled by a small switch on drivers side.

Its had an aftermarket alarm fitted, with an Led I belive replacing what would have been the cruise control button. I also think this has a parasitic drain effect on the battery.

The handbrake/emergency brake is not working at all despite supposedly being fixed last year.

Headlight issue just needs a new bulb (h4).

Drivers side manual lock is intermittently problematic (won't turn).

Main fuel gage is broken.

Rear tailgate interior door handle broken.

Engine cold air intake missing/defective.

Passenger side screen washer doesn't work/intermittent.

Screen wash reservoir / pipe has a slow leak somewhere.

Drivers seat is worn and torn.

Needs front section of the exhaust replaced/repaired, I also think there is a hole somewhere on exhaust manifold down pipe that in conjunction withe bad air intake is causing a loss of pressure/power

Not 100% but I think the tappets are sounding a bit 'ticky' to me...

From the look of the white exhaust smoke on startup I'm almost certain the head gasket is going/gone. Certainly worth checking out ASAP.

From the (partial) service history/receipts I have I think it should have at least 20/5k left before timing belt/chain is due

Steering pulls to the left a bit, assuming just needa alignment done.

5x General grabber AT2 tyres all look like having decent life left in them.

I'm general the electrics work OK, windows are slow to operate but do work.

some of the lights in interior switches are not working anymore (needs new bulbs?)

Not tried the 4WD in a long time, but it used to be ok....

Original head unit replaced with an after market stereo (an cd changer removed)

Both rear wheel arches have quite a bit of rust now and in worse condition than I thought (see pictures)

Underneath is now also pretty rusty/corroded and will require significant welding to pass mot

Being ~28 years old it has plenty of dents, scratches and general wear and tear to the bodywork and paint

As stated it doesn't have an MOT an it will need to be trailered away.

As above it needs repairing or it could maybe have new life as a farm or off road vehicle??—
