We're currently looking for a skilled and dependable Tanker Driver (Category C) to join our growing team, covering routes in the Chelmsford and Bishop's Stortford area of Essex.

About the Role

As a key member of our tankering team, you will:

Operate a vacuum tanker to collect and deliver sewage from sewage treatment plants and pumping stations

Carry out regular, scheduled routes, often working independently

Maintain your vehicle to a high standard, ensuring it's clean, roadworthy, and operated safely

Follow PPE protocols and risk assessments to ensure safe on-site operations

Use handheld systems to record job details and send basic communications

You'll be part of a supportive and experienced team, with consistent local work and a clear focus on safety, professionalism, and customer care.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A valid LGV Category C licence

At least 3 years of experience operating LGV C vehicles

Proven vacuum tanker driving experience

Fewer than 6 points on your licence

A full, up-to-date Driver CPC card

Basic IT literacy to manage job logs and emails

A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and independence

Good customer communication skills
