Selling my 2009 Toyota Prius Hybrid with 171,000 miles. I've owned it for the past 3 years as my first car, and it has been a reliable, economical family car. I'm only selling because I'm upgrading to a newer vehicle.

Honest Description:
The car has some cosmetic scratches and dents (please see photos).

It drives smoothly on normal roads. On rough or uneven roads, there is some suspension noise, which I believe is likely due to worn shock absorbers. The car drives perfectly, and this should be a straightforward repair.

The engine management light (shown in the photo) has been on since I bought the car 3 years ago. It has never affected the way the car drives and has caused me no issues during my ownership.

In very hot weather, after around 1½ hours of continuous driving, particularly at higher speeds on dual carriageways or motorways, the car may occasionally display the master warning triangle with a beeping sound. The warning clears by itself after a short while. I believe this may be related to the hybrid inverter cooling circulation pump, which is a common and relatively inexpensive repair. For peace of mind and safety, I recommend getting this repaired before regularly undertaking long motorway journeys.

I'm advertising the car honestly so buyers know exactly what they're getting. It's a dependable, fuel-efficient Prius with low mileage for its age and plenty of life left.
