Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. You will:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils

• Communicate effectively in Welsh to support learners’ understanding and engagement

• Work with learners individually or in small groups to reinforce learning

• Support students with additional learning or behavioural needs

• Help maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies

• Encourage, motivate, and inspire pupils to achieve their best

• Speak Welsh fluently (essential)

• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and patience to your role

• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Are adaptable, supportive, and eager to learn

Essential Requirements:

• EWC Registration (Support category – or willingness to apply)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Two recent references from educational or childcare settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
