SEN Teaching Assistant - Flintshire

Pay: £90-£110 per day

Location: Flintshire

Contract: Full-time, long-term supply

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Flintshire.

The Role:

Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs such as autism, ADHD, and social or emotional difficulties.

Work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities, promote engagement, and encourage independence.

Support pupils 1:1 or within small groups, both in the classroom and during structured activities.

Help create a calm, nurturing learning environment where every student can succeed.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school or care background welcome).

A valid child-only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register.

A caring, patient approach and genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
