Teaching Assistant – Ealing

Location: Ealing, London

Job Type: Full–time / Part–time (depending on availability)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Ealing. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to provide high–quality learning support, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Provide one–to–one and small–group support to pupils where required

Assist pupils with their learning, confidence, and personal development

Support children with additional educational needs and individual learning plans

Help prepare classroom resources and learning activities

Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence

Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

Passionate about supporting children's education and wellbeing

Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils

Enthusiastic and committed to creating a positive learning environment

A strong communicator with good teamwork skills

Reliable, adaptable, and willing to contribute to the wider school community

Previous experience in a school, childcare, or support role is desirable but not essential
