SEND Teaching Assistants

Immediate Start | Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Opportunities

We are currently working with several schools across Greenwich that are actively recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. These roles involve working with children and young people with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, and other SEND requirements.

Positions are initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent following a successful period working through Classroom Support.

Requirements:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a classroom or professional setting.

*

Previous experience working with children and/or young people.

*

A degree or equivalent qualification (ideal but not essential).

*

Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

*

A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (including the children's barred list check).

*

Ability to travel up to an hour to reach assigned schools.

*

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection (essential).
