SEND Teacher – Long-term, temporary and ongoing, full-time starting September 2026Here is a specialist alternative provision for pupils aged 5–16, part of the Unity Education Trust. The setting supports young people with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning, providing tailored support and personalised educational pathways.

The school is committed to supporting pupils' personal development and helping them achieve positive outcomes through strong relationships, high expectations, and specialist support.

Duties as SEND Teacher:

Delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to pupils with SEND

Adapting learning to meet individual needs and EHCP targets

Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

Working closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies

Monitoring and assessing pupil progressIdeal SEND Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working with SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision pupils

Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

Understanding of trauma-informed and inclusive practice

Ability to engage and motivate learners with complex needs
