School Cleaner

Description

CCS are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner on behalf of an Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school in the Borough of Stockport.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly school environment where maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential to providing a safe and welcoming learning space for pupils and staff.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* 6:30am – 8:30am

* 3:30pm – 6:30pm

* Total: 5 hours per day (25 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.

* Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.

* Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture and fixtures.

* Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and replenishing consumables.

* Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.

* Cleaning windows, doors and internal glass where required.

* Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the school.

* Locking/unlocking designated areas as required.

* Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.

* Following all school health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.

* Working independently and as part of the cleaning team to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.

Essential Requirements

* Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

* A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

* Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety practices.

* Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.

* Right to work in the UK.
