Tradewind Recruitment are supporting one of their partnership primary schools based in the West Bridgford area, with a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Year 1 pupil.

This is a beautiful, one–form–entry primary school based in Nottingham which is part of a successful academy trust but holds a community feel within the local area. The school has a wonderful reputation in the area with parents and is a school regularly requested by supply staff to return to.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil in Year 1Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional DysregulationSupport learning, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support planAdapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the childPromote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Holds at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusionConfident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary settingPatient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeingHolds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Available Monday to Friday (part–time roles still require weekday availability)Why Work with Tradewind?
