The Role – History & Politics Teacher

A high–performing mainstream secondary academy in the London Borough of Barnet is seeking a dedicated and engaging History & Politics Teacher to join their team on a full–time, permanent basis starting September 2026. The role involves teaching History across KS3 and KS4, alongside A–Level Politics at KS5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that promote critical thinking and analytical skills.

You will be responsible for planning high–quality schemes of work, assessing student progress, and supporting pupils to achieve excellent academic outcomes. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with strong support and professional development available.
