Science Graduates Wanted - PRU Teaching Assistant Roles | Immediate Start
Are you a recent Science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? We are recruiting for Teaching Assistant roles in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), offering a unique opportunity to support students with additional needs and challenging behaviours in a highly rewarding environment.
About the Role:
Full-time position, starting immediately
Supporting students aged 11-16 in a PRU setting
Assisting with science lessons and cross-curricular activities
Providing academic and emotional support to pupils with SEMH needs
Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environmentIdeal Candidates Will Have:
A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
A genuine interest in education and supporting vulnerable young people
Strong communication and resilience
Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to applyWhy Apply?
