Description

Art Technician - Secondary Schools (Bexley)

Inspiring creativity. Supporting education. Building futures.

Are you passionate about the arts and eager to support young people in bringing their creativity to life? We are seeking enthusiastic Art Technicians to join inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Bexley.

As an Art Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and students within the Art Department-helping prepare materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and inspiring environment for creative learning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an artistic setting and wants to make a real difference in a school community.

What you'll be doing:

Assisting with the preparation of art materials, tools, and resources for lessons and workshops.

Maintaining and organising art supplies, equipment, and studio spaces.

Supporting students with their practical work and creative projects.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the art rooms.

Collaborating with teachers to enhance the creative curriculum and displays.

We're looking for someone who:

Has a genuine interest in art, design, or creative subjects.

Is organised, reliable, and proactive in supporting classroom activities.

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.

(Desirable) Has prior experience in a school or studio environment.

Why join us:

Be part of inclusive and supportive schools where creativity is valued.

Receive ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

Access pathways for career growth and progression within the education sector.

Work in a role that truly makes a difference to students' learning experiences.

If you're creative, organised, and ready to inspire the next generation of artists, we'd love to hear from you
