Day Rate: £100 - £120

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Start Date: January 2026 - Immediate start available

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are seeking an enthusiastic and confident HLTA to join a large, forward-thinking secondary school in the Coventry CV1 area. This is the ideal role for someone experienced in supporting teaching and learning across KS3 & KS4 and confident delivering pre-planned lessons when required.

Your Role Will Include:

Leading pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence

Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects

Delivering targeted small-group interventions (literacy, numeracy, revision, or catch-up)

Assisting teachers with planning, preparation, and resource creation

Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in lessons

Supporting pupils with learning barriers, confidence issues, or mild additional needs

Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff

Demonstrating good practice and supporting other TAs where neededWe're Looking For:

HLTA status or significant experience leading learning in a secondary school

Strong behaviour management and confident classroom presence

Ability to deliver lessons across KS3 & KS4 using pre-planned materials

Clear communication and the ability to build rapport with teenagers

Reliable, organised, and committed to consistency

Understanding of safeguarding, professional conduct, and school procedures

Ability to work collaboratively within a large team of teachers and support staff
