Do you have strong classroom management and experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4?

Are you looking for a long-term History Teacher role with the potential to become permanent?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a History Teacher. The school has a supportive Senior Leadership Team and a strong focus on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated History Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with the opportunity to move to a permanent position. The successful History Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Strong classroom management skills

• A good understanding of the UK secondary curriculum

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A proactive and positive attitude
