Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Swindon

Contract Type: Full-time | Term Time Only

Looking to build valuable experience before entering teacher trainingAbout the Role:

As a Graduate TA, you will:

Support students in KS1 and KS2 across core subjects, helping to raise attainment and engagement.

Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one academic support.

Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and behaviour management.

Contribute to a culture of high expectations and academic excellence.

Gain valuable experience for a future career in teaching or education.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree in Maths, English, Science, or a closely related subject.

A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their academic progress.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach.

Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or classroom support (desirable but not essential).
