Protocol Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Stockton-on-Tees and the wider Teesside area.

We partner with a variety of well-established and highly regarded schools, offering opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term teaching placements across multiple subject areas. The Role

As a General Cover Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects

Maintain a positive and productive learning environment

Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons

Follow school policies and behaviour expectations

Build positive relationships with students and staff

Adapt confidently to different school environments

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from:

Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)

Confident classroom practitioners with strong behaviour management skills

Flexible and reliable educators who can adapt to different settings

Teachers available immediately or at short notice

ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience are also encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
