Location: Coventry

Contract: Full-time, long-term and day-to-day opportunities available

Start Date: Immediate or after half term

Pay: £110 - £125 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom supervisors who enjoy working with young people and are passionate about education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the absence of the class teacher.

*

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils stay engaged with learning.

*

Provide support to students where needed and encourage positive participation.

*

Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

*

Assist with general school duties as required.

Requirements:

*

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (in a school, tutoring, or youth setting).

*

Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills.

*

Ability to manage behaviour effectively.

*

A degree or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
